Court Collaboration secures planning consent for latest city centre BTR scheme

Apr 27, 2023

Court Collaboration’s plans to develop a brownfield site in the heart of Birmingham city centre have been approved by the council’s planning committee.

Located next to Centenary Square and adjacent to the beautiful City Centre Gardens, Brindley Drive will feature a 46-storey tower and an additional 15-storey structure providing a mixture of 581 contemporary new one and two‑bedroom homes just moments from the Colmore Row business district.

Designed by CallisonRTKL, the scheme will offer world-class private amenities, including rooftop facilities, flexible co-working space, a gym and more, with a concierge service in place for residents.

Alex Neale, Managing Director of Court Collaboration, said: “We are thrilled with the council’s decision to grant planning permission. This ambitious project will reinforce our commitment to operating at the forefront of sustainable design and innovative construction.

The development will also contribute to the exciting transformation currently taking place in Birmingham. This isn’t just a building or a home, it’s the new face of renting. It’s a lifestyle choice designed to foster collaboration, engagement and socialisation with your neighbours and the wider community. We look forward to announcing a start date for the project in the near future.”
