Court Living now offers Help to Buy for luxury development

Jul 3, 2019

Court living now offers ‘Help To Buy’ to help customers get onto the property ladder with the government Help to Buy initiative.

Elegant, stylish and designed with modern living in mind, Arden Gate has everything to offer the very best of city living. Ideal for young professionals, the homes are surrounded by a wealth of Birmingham’s very best attractions, but equally take a step back from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets, allowing you to enjoy your day to day life within a relaxing environment.

The introduction of the scheme means that those looking to purchase a property can do so by placing down a deposit of as little as five per cent.

The Government will then provide a top-up loan of a further 20 per cent of the value of the property. You won’t face any loan fees on the 20 per cent until you’ve owned your property for a minimum of five years. You’ll then need to make up a 75% mortgage, which can be borrowed from a mortgage lender on a repayment basis. Your equity loan should then be repaid after 25 years, or sooner if you decide to put your property back on the market.

For Arden Gate, this means you could secure your dream home with just a deposit of £9,647.50, based on a property value of £192,950. The government would then fund the additional £38,590 with a mortgage

amount of £144,712.50 making up the rest of the purchase price!

Another option is to open a Help to Buy ISA. When you open a Help to Buy ISA, you could receive a Government bonus of up £3,000 towards your first property. It’s also worth noting that the scheme is available to each first-time buyer, not each household, so if you’re a couple saving for your first home, you could receive a bonus from the Government of up to £6,000.

And with Birmingham undergoing huge transformations, Arden Gate is the perfect opportunity to buy your own space in one of the country’s most exciting cities, just in time for the Commonwealth Games in 2020.

More than 65 per cent of these stunning apartments, which have been developed by Court Collaboration and Top Capital, have already been snapped up, but there’s still plenty of time for you to secure your new home.

Jade Bowley, Sales Manager for Court Living said ‘Were so pleased to be able to offer the Help to Buy scheme on Arden Gate as it’s such a great tool to help people get onto the property ladder as just a 5% deposit is required, compared to the usual 20%. We’ve already secured several sales to first time buyers using the Help to Buy and look forward to helping many others purchase their first home’.
