2017 – A year to remember, especially for Court as we accomplished so many exciting things! From creating new luxury developments to winning awards lets take a look over the last 12 months…
The Franklin and Royal Sutton Place
These developments were two of our luxury developments being built just outside the city centre in iconic local buildings. Keeping with the look of the local community, we ensured the designs not only enticed buyers but also showcased the buildings in all their glory. They were so popular we sold our last property on both developments this year.
Development completed at The Sutton
The Sutton has been designed with an exceptionally high quality finish and overlooks Sutton Park, offering breath taking views. There are apartments still available on this development with easy access to Birmingham City Centre; hi spec finish and luxury surrounding.
Started on site at One – Five – One and Arden Gate
Coming back to a place we know and love – Birmingham City Centre. Work has already started on 151 Great Charles Street and Arden Gate – 2 of our latest developments being built in the city centre. One-Five-One is due for completion in March 2018 and we have 2 apartments remaining, including our luxury penthouse with roof top terrace overlooking the Birmingham city skyline. You can find more details at www.one-five-one.co.uk. A little fact about the building – 151 GCS was built in the 1840’s and will still retain features from when it was originally constructed. Arden Gate is set for completion in 2019 and you can register your interest in the development now at www.arden-gate.co.uk.
Court Living launched
It was only a matter of time before we started to sell our luxury apartments directly – presenting Court Living. Part of the Court Collaboration brand, we offer off-plan sales opportunities for a new home or investment opportunities.
Small business of the year
We cannot talk about the last 12 months without mentioning our win at the Birmingham Post Business Awards for ‘Small Business of the year’. With stiff competition from other successful Birmingham companies, Court managed to take home the prize which has been pride of place in our office since winning.
Changes to the Court team
At our AGM in June 2017, Alex Neale and Chris Keogh were announced as managing directors of Court. There were also a few changes to the Court team as we needed to expand with new team members: Liz Holmes – Office Manager, Liam Davies – Land and Property Director, Aidan Dauncey – Project Manager and Sarah Moors – Graduate Planning and Development Surveyor.
Birmingham Post Power 250
Some of the West Midlands’ most recognisable faces have been included in a new Birmingham Post list of the region’s most influential people which includes our very own Anthony McCourt. The Birmingham Post Power 250 identifies the senior figures in 25 sectors that are key to the future of the city and Anthony came out on top for being a top figure in the Birmingham Property list with other influential property business owners in the city.
2017 has been a phenomenal year for Court and we are excited what 2018 will bring.
Property isn’t about bricks and mortar it’s about people
